Bar Code E.P.S. Files
SixB Labels Bar Code E.P.S. Files (Encapsulated Post Script) are designed for high resolution postscript capable imagesetters and printers. These Vector files are device independent (the resolution or dpi is determined by the output device) and can be incorporated with your artwork files in order to produce the bar codes within the guidelines.
Please consult your software manuals to see if this file format is supported and how it should be handled.
In order to meet the bar code film guidelines these files should be produced at over 2000 dpi on a postscript capable imagesetter.
All Raster file formats like JPEG, GIF and Photoshop can be used if they are produced at over 2000 dpi which creates huge files and makes them impractical and undesirable.
