You have to apply for a UPC with Uniform Code Council. Their website is www.uc-council.org and the phone number is (937) 435-3870.

How much does it cost to get my UPC numbers?

Depends on the number of products you intend to identify with a UPC symbol and the current or projected sales revenue of your company. Please visit the Uniform Code Council website for more info: www.uc-council.org

How much does it cost to get Bar Code Film Masters, Labels, Cards or Menus?

How can I print UPCs in house myself?

Need bar code printing software and a laser, inkjet or thermal transfer printer. Six B Labels has a complete line of Thermal Transfer & Direct Thermal printers (SATO). We also provide bar code printing software and consulting.

How do I check my codes for accuracy?

Bar code verification equipment is required. Six B Labels carries this equipment.

How do I add a UPC to my artwork?

Request a .eps from Six B Labels to be emailed to you, download the file and place or import it into your electronic file. The .eps file must accompany your art file to your printing company.
