Client Chats Series — To kick off our Q&A series about simplifying labeling, Client Chats, we take a look at Texas Toffee Queen. We spoke recently with the owner, Nancy Lalumia.
How did you get into the toffee business?
I've always known and loved food, especially desserts, and after years of making toffee for family and friends, I made some for my sister's Italian shop. Positive reviews and large orders followed. Then schools and churches started wanting toffee for fundraisers. Awards at food competitions gave me a boost, but great customer reviews, like "the chocolate is amazingly good!" convinced me the most. I've been selling toffee for eight years now.

How did you find SixB Labels?
I like to take my time researching vendors, and I decided to check out your business because you came highly recommended by people at Dallas Market Center whose advice I trust.
How did the label development go?
I already had a good idea of what I wanted — something simple but elegant, with a high-end look. Barry, my rep, quickly and easily accommodated my needs. He recommended a hotstamp label with dull gold and black. We decided on clear packaging to show the product, and on the back, to list the ingredients, a simple paper label with freezer adhesive. I love my label — the quality of it — it does just what I envisioned!
