| Flexographic Printing Requirements | |
| Serif Fonts: | Positive type must be a minimum of 7 points. Reverse type must be a minimum of 8 points. |
| Sans Serif Fonts: | Positive type must be a minimum of 4 points. Reverse type must be a minimum of 5 points. |
| Decorative Fonts: | The thinnest stroke for positive type must be a minimum of 1/2 point (0.007"). Reverse type must be a minimum of 1 point (0.014"). |
| Lines: | Positive lines must be a minimum of 1/2 point (0.007") thick. Reverse lines must be a minimum of 1 point (0.014") thick. |
| Screens: | 85-150 line screen. Additional cost for 100 line and above. 10% minimum dot size, 90% maximum dot size. |
| Gradations, Blends or Fades: | Accepted screen percentages are 10%-90%. These percentages are used for flexographic printing to achieve smooth gradations and avoid loss of image information and quality. Anything above or below this range is not acceptable for flexographic printing. |
| Traps: | SixB Art Department will create trap for all artwork. Minimum 1/2 point (0.007") trap (diagonal lines and certain designs may require more trapping). |
| Margins: | All artwork must be a minimum of 1/16 inch (0.0625") from the edge of the die. |
| Bleeds: | Minimum 1/8 inch (0.125") bleed (borders that bleed off the label must have minimum 1/8 inch thickness in addition to the 1/8 inch bleed). |
