Let’s get metaphorical and go beyond physical foods. How many of us pack our to-do lists with the “have to” items upfront and the “want to” ones in the back? Then the wants keep on getting postponed to the next day, the one after that, even the week after, and beyond.
We tend to get stuck in a pattern of living for the future rather than being and thriving in the “now.” Then coming up with such “radical” ideas on our own seems so unnatural. But we should dare to go after our real and current wants, even on our own.
