This print award is bestowed by the Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica, a regional division of Printing Industries of America (PIA), covering Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. Hundreds of entries are submitted in such categories as brochures, calendars, packaging, labels, and much more. As members in good standing of PIA, the SixB Labels Family will always be excited and happy to receive custom label printing awards from this body, knowing that these awards are designed to honor craft, customer service, and contributions to the printing industry.
As we now enter the final quarter of 2020, SixB Labels looks back with satisfaction over the last four years of accolades received from the Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica, a regional division of the larger organization, Printing Industries of America (PIA), covering Texas, Oklahoma Kansas and Missouri. The SixB Labels Family is pleased to be members in good standing with PIA. And we are just as happy to be the recipient of a number of custom label printing awards from this body because there is no better compliment than respect from a jury of one's peers— the reward for our proud participation in the PIA.
What is Hot Foil Label Stamping?
Hot foil stamping is the process used to print hot foil labels or hot stamp labels, among other products. It may sometimes be referred to as hot stamping or foil stamping and is a fantastic way of producing high-quality luxury labels.
The process involves the use of a hot stamping machine, where a die is heated and the product to be stamped is placed below it. The die is then pressed through a metalized or painted roll leaf carrier and the dry paint or foil is impressed into the surface of the product, in this case, a label. Because the materials involved are dry, hot foil stamping is a non-polluting process.
