    We Support Ukraine.

SixB Labels supports peace, democracy and the right to self-determination.  As importantly, we support Ukraine.

Producing labels and stickers that help non-profits raise awareness and ultimately funding for their causes is quite natural for us. So we created these Ukrainian Flag Heart Stickers in bulk without a specific organization's branding so we could distribute them widely.

Our company's contact information is only included so that those interested in requesting these stickers would know how to get in touch. We encourage representatives from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) who want to request a batch of these stickers for their group to fill out the form at the end of this post.

How To Weave Pantone's 2022 Color of the Year Into Labeling?

Happy Gregorian Calendar New Year, Lunar New Year and a Very Peri PANTONE Color of the Year 2022!

Personally I am a proud PANTONE Color Products enthusiast, sipping my coffee from a PANTONE 520 Aubergine-hued mug as I write this post. As we were developing our end-of-2021 marketing, I made sure we weaved in the year’s two colors — PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating. So it should not be much of a surprise that I was waiting in anticipation for them to announce their 2022 Color of The Year: PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri.

We are so excited to start using the color in our marketing that the SixB team designed some festive logos for the occasion, featured here, incorporating a solid Very Peri in reverse as well as one with an image of fibers and orbs in reverse, as PANTONE has been highlighting in their materials about the color.

The Story Behind The SixB Labels Shop

At the time of this post's initial writing, it is the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century and actually in the midst of a 10-day period where we will witness in palindrome with the number's making up each day's date being in the same sequence whether it is read forwards or backwards. So on these auspicious days, it makes the most sense to share the backstory on a business initiative of ours that was about 5 years in the making: launching an e-commerce arm to our business that was mutually beneficial to our customers and those garnering such a title, all the  while being sustainable to our business.

How To Find Hand Sanitizer ... Labels

ESSENTIALS SERIES | We are kicking off this blog series on essential product labels, looking at how businesses are rising to the occasion of the COVID-19 health crisis offering products like hand sanitizers to fulfill those deemed "essential needs." Keeping in mind that during this unprecedented period in our history, SixB Labels has a special responsibility to stay open safely — with more information on our operations here in the blog post "We're Here For You." — particularly serving industries such as those in medical, healthcare and food & beverage.

Facing a shortage of essential cleaning supplies we are seeing numerous entities forming, adding to, or even changing, their production lines to include hand sanitizer products. More and more operations are offering these sanitizers for free to the likes of municipalities, discounting prices and/or maintaining typical pre-high-demand price-points. SixB Labels has joined the effort from donation initiatives to prioritizing production on these essential hand sanitizer labels. This piece will focus on hand sanitizer labels in variations of design, technical specs and printing options.

7 Ways To Label With SixB

According to Merriam-Webster, "a slip (as of paper or cloth) inscribed and affixed to something for identification or description" and  " written or printed matter accompanying an article to furnish identification or other information" are just a couple of definitions for the word "label."  But SixB Labels takes those definitions steps further, to identify multiple ways those in a variety of industries, from Food and Beverage to Health and Beauty, Automotive, Luxury, Technology, and beyond,  could utilize our business to produce their labeling program. Here are basic and then deep dive looks at 7 Ways to Label With SixB.*
    • Blank and Foil-Stamped Labels for Inkjet Printers, such as the Epson C3500 and C7500
    • Blank Labels for Sheet-Fed Inkjet or Laser Printers
    • Digital, Flexo-Printed, Foil Stamped and Embossed Labels, in Rolls or Sheets, Line or Process Work
    • Labels For Single Color Thermal Transfer or Direct Thermal Printers
    • Combinations of Digital, Flexo, Foil Stamped and Thermal Transfer Printed Labels

WestPack 2018 — What You Want

Anytime someone asks my father what SixB Labels’ minimum order quantity requirement is, he simply responds, “One.” Now he, Fari Bakhshian, SixB Labels Vice President, is being completely genuine with this statement, believing projects with smaller quantities shouldn’t have barriers to high quality design and functionality. Of course the cost of one label could be the same as 100 labels; and if you really don’t want the other 99, we won’t ship them to you.

If past years are any indication, this will probably be the No. 1 judgement question we will be asked during one of the largest annual packaging trade shows, WestPack, taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center, Booth 5474, February 6-8, 2018.

    Introducing SixB Labels’ Latest Platform

We are beyond happy to announce our latest digital marketing platform and site for SixB Labels. Like much of our story, this new age includes a more customer-centric web site, as well as blog and email marketing content customized to the wants of individuals and our markets. Thank you in advance for taking this journey with us!

    Wind Positions Defined

Wind positions, re-wind, and simply wound are terms commonly spoken in the label printing world, although some folks might not be too familiar with what these terms mean. SixB provides a safe space for all questions, and no one is here to judge you.

Label roll outputs are commonly wound into one of the eight positions recognized by the labeling industry. The standard is influential for post-label production when rolls are then placed into the likes of printers and applicators for additional packaging processes. Keep in mind that rewind positions are mostly used for machine applications.

Here are some considerations for making orders where labels will involve machine applications:

    • A Roll Wind Number, based on the image below
    • Inside Core Diameter
    • Maximum Outside Roll Diameter

    WestPack 2016 Recap

On Monday, February 8th, eager with anticipation, we walked into the Anaheim Convention Center to set up our booth for WestPack 2016, surrounded by colleagues, competitors, forklifts, golf carts and much more.

The event, which offered us a medley of surprises, ended up being one of our best years yet with the WestPack family.

Any time we meet someone new, and learn about their business and journey, it is a pretty joyous surprise. Well, we had a happy amount of such situations, meeting with businesses in a variety of industries, including Food, Beverage, Cosmetics, Beauty, Packaging, Electronic, Technology, Manufacturing and beyond. We were also given opportunities to connect with such partners as Sato and Epson, and to share their printers with our booth visitors.
